ABOUT

I retired at the end of 2017 after 34 years of pastoral ministry at Peninsula Bible Church Cupertino. However, over the past 15 years my interest increasing turned to spiritual formation and spiritual direction, seeking to provide much needed contemplative practices into the life of an evangelical church. As I neared retirement, my focus became the spiritual health of the staff.  Now my joy is meeting with people one-on-one, listening to the movements of God in their lives, and being a companion in their journey. I am also involved in a ministry called SoulCARE in the Bay Area that provides spiritual care for pastors and non-profit leaders. Meeting with young pastors is especially life-giving for me.  I have been married for 47 years and have three children and six grandchildren.
